Online file sharing company Napster is set for a relaunch before Christmas offering both paid-for and free services.
Napster 2.0 will offer 500,000 tracks to its subscribers through deals with a number of record labels. Available online will be music from Eminem, Miles Davis, the Dixie Chicks, Bob Marley and more.
The original incarnation of Napster which let users share songs for free over the Internet filed for bankruptcy in 2002.
Subscription and download costs were not revealed.
